Lombok

After a not so nice two hour drive in a mini-minivan with six other people we arrived in Kuta, Lombok. Even the boattrip from Gili T to Gili Air was much better. The motor of the boat didn't work when we were allready at sea. Finally another boat came to help us out. Our boat was full with people and luggage and that boat was full with people. 100 people at least in one boat is possible we figured out. There wasn't a seat so I had to stand and it was terrible hot but it was so much better than that mini-minivan.
An afternoon at the pool was nice and relaxing. That evening we went for a massage that was even more relaxing. That lady crushed me and I fell asleep...
Before we arrived to Lombok a lot of horror stories were told. You get mugged on your motorbike so don't wear your backpack, if you rent a scooter take pictures otherwise they will charge you for some kind of damage, don't trust anyone.. And so on. Nothing of that happened. Only a car almost run us over on purpose and a lot of children bothered us to sell us their bracelets. I supported child labor so bad (if they really make them theirselves) but I couldn't stand those lovely faces.
We drove around on our scooters to find the perfect beach. And we did, we did! Fantastic. Gorgeous.
I still can't say what to think about Kuta. Small village, bad roads, beautiful beaches though, garbage all over...
Today the first day alone again. Weird! But we'll meet again.. Bali it is.
