Finally I found time to write something. Busy with travelling and having a really good time.
Jakarta was good for one day. I took a scooter from the busstation to the hostel. That was so nice! A little guy with my bag on his belly and then a not so small woman with a huge backback on one scooter.
That night on the rooftop of Six Degrees the journey began. Met such lovely people and we still are travelling together. Some left, others joined.
A few days ago we arrived in Yogyakarta after almost 9 hours travelling by train. What a stunning city and an excellent hostel, Ostic House.
Sunrise at Borobudur was beautiful. Yesterday we rented scooters and took off to Prambanan, also a temple complex. I got one with gears and I felt like a fish in the water! Awesome!
Today another day scootering, heading to the beach, spa and another good food experience.
Let's talk about the food... A lot of it is familiar to me but to get a sandwich with chocolate sprinkles as breakfast is the bomb. I love krupuk so much and here it is in a lot of different forms, it's heaven. Nasi goreng, nasi kuning, soto ayam, sateh buntel. All so delicious.
The first five days of my adventure is great!
